IMAS - Tuna Sustainability
Catching yellowfin tuna off spectacular Tasman Peninsula with Dr Sean Tracey from IMAS - Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies.
Dr Tracey is developing a program of sustainable practices for recreational fisherman.
After an exhilarating day on the water, several Yellowfin Tuna on ice, it was back to the studio to document these extraordinary creatures.
The irony of being commissioned to photograph the catching of this under threat species for a campaign designed to preserve them was did not pass me by.
